Terms of Service

By using this site or installing and playing Formula1 IQ you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use them.

The games. Nineteen Formula 1 trivia games in four categories (Quickfire, Guess, Knowledge and Trivia) plus Quick Race, five rounds drawn from the single-guess games. Questions come from our servers, so the app needs a connection to play.

Points. A full win is worth 100 points and some games pay partial credit. Points move you up the licences, from Karting to World Champion. Points, streaks and licences have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold, transferred or refunded. We may change how rounds are scored at any time to keep the games balanced.

Collectables. Signed-in players can spend points in the Garage on 3D collectables and pin up to three to a showcase other players can see. Spending never lowers your points on the global ranking. Some pieces need a licence to unlock. Collectables are cosmetic, have no cash value, cannot be bought with money, traded or refunded, and we may add, change or retire pieces and prices.

Fair play. Do not automate play, script or tamper with the app, or use our game, search or account endpoints outside the app. We may reset progress, remove a player from the global ranking, or close an account that does.

Guest play. Guest progress lives on your device and is not backed up. Uninstalling, clearing app data or switching devices loses it, and it cannot be recovered. Sign in if you want your progress to follow you.

Accounts. Signing in with Google or Apple is optional. The name your provider shares appears on the global ranking and your public profile until you change it in Profile. Pick a name that is not offensive and does not impersonate anyone. You can delete your Formula1 IQ account at any time in Profile.

Ads. The app is supported by ads. Watching an optional rewarded ad can double a round's points.

Race data. Results, drivers, teams and circuits are factual sporting records, sourced from f1db via TracingInsights/RaceData. We work to keep them correct but cannot promise every answer is error-free.

Not affiliated. Formula1 IQ is an unofficial fan app. It is not associated in any way with the Formula 1 companies, the FIA, or any team or driver. F1, FORMULA ONE, FORMULA 1 and related marks are trademarks of Formula One Licensing B.V., used here only to describe the subject of the trivia.

Availability. We provide the site and the app as they are, without warranty, and we may change or discontinue either at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
